A história gira em torno de Park Hoon, um Sul coreano que foi sequestrado junto com o seu pai por Norte coreanos, e por causa disso acaba crescendo na Coreia do Norte. Assim como o seu pai, ele se torna um excelente médico, sendo considerado um gênio. Após conseguir desertar do Norte, Park Hoon começa a trabalhar no melhor hospital do Sul, mas mesmo sendo Sul coreano, ele se sente completamente excluído. Mas para reencontrar o seu amor que ficou na Coreia do Norte, ele faz qualquer coisa por dinheiro.
