FaltaVer stores what you marked as watched so it can tell you where you stopped. We do not sell any of it, and you can delete everything whenever you want.
What we store
- Your account: email, name (if you provide one), language and time zone. The email is used to sign in and to notify you about new episodes, if you ask for it.
- What you mark: which series you follow, which episodes you watched, when you marked each one and the ratings you gave. That history is what answers "where did I stop".
- Technical: the IP address at the moment of a login request (to curb abuse), and the browser registration if you enable notifications.
Who else sees it
Five services take part in running this, and each sees only the part it needs:
- TMDB — provides the series data. Receives nothing about you.
- OpenAI — when you use the "where did I stop" search, the text you write is sent along with that series episode list so the model can find the scene. Your name, email and history are not sent.
- Google Analytics — measures how many people visit and where they come from, using a cookie and IP. Does not receive what you watch.
- Amazon SES — delivers the emails we send, and therefore sees your address.
- Cloudflare — serves the site and protects it from attacks; sees the IP of visitors, as any server does.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
- We show no ads and use no advertising identifier.
- We do not ask for or store your location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos or files.
Your rights
You can view, correct, export or delete your data at any time - including the whole account with all its history. Just ask by email, and we answer within 15 days.
For how long
As long as your account exists. Delete the account and the history goes with it. The series data itself (cast, episodes, dates) is neither yours nor ours: it comes from TMDB and follows their rules.
Minors
FaltaVer is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect data from anyone who declares being younger than that.
Changes
If something important changes, the date at the top changes with it and we notify account holders by email.
