La serie sigue a Wander y su corcel Sylvia que viajan de planeta en planeta ayudando a la gente y divirtiendose y viviendo libre, que están contra Lord Hater y su ejército de perros guardianes del mal en el reino. El creador, Craig McCracken, que fue creador de las series de Cartoon Network ganadora del Emmy The Powerpuff Girls y Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Antes de crear sus propios espectáculos, que McCracken dirigió Dexter’s Laboratory y trabajó en varias series de Hanna-Barbera.
