É uma série de TV criada pela Walt Disney Company e baseada em Tarzan de Edgar Rice Burroughs, que funcionou originalmente de 2001 à 2003. A série estrelou Michael T. Weiss como Tarzan, substituindo Tony Goldwyn , e Olivia d'Abo como Jane, substituindo Minnie Driver . A série se passa após o filme de 1999 Tarzan, com o personagem-título ajustando ao seu novo papel como líder dos macacos após a morte de Kerchak, e Jane (agora casada com Tarzan) se adaptando à vida na selva, e a série está situada no mesmo período de tempo como de "Tarzan e Jane", de 2002. Completando o elenco estão: o pai de Jane, Professor Archimedes; Tantor, o elefante germofobico; e Terk, um gorila fêmea, e velho companheiro de luta de Tarzan.
