Makino Tsukushi é uma garota de família pobre, que estuda no colégio dos mais ricos do Japão, a Eitoku Gakuen. Esta escola é comandada por 4 garotos do terceiro ano, herdeiros das famílias mais ricas do Japão, chamados de Flower Four, ou F4. Quem os incomoda de alguma maneira, recebe a tarja vermelha e é maltratado por todos os alunos do colégio. O que mais Tsukushi deseja é se formar de maneira pacífica, sem chamar a atenção de ninguém. No entanto, cansada de ver tantas idiotices cometidas pelo F4 e pelos alunos do colégio, ela decide enfrentar o grupo, após defender sua amiga.
