A história acompanha a vida de detetives que trabalham na Unidade de Gestão de Ameaças da polícia de Los Angeles. Sua missão é solucionar casos relacionados a perseguidores. Entre os membros da unidade estão o Detetive Jack Larsen, recém transferido de NY, cuja confiança, personalidade forte e comportamento questionável já o colocaram em apuros antes.
